What a coin can trade against

Almost anything with a real market on Arc. USDC unless you say otherwise. Here is what the wizard offers, and how a market is checked before it is accepted.

The offered list

Large capsUSDC (native, the gas token), WETH (bridged ether), cirBTC (Circle Wrapped Bitcoin), EURC
Arc ecoARGUS, VIRTUAL, FAZE, ARCT, POLL
MemesTOLLY, COOL, LONG, UBI, MEMESPAD

Native USDC, not the ERC-20. A coin paired with USDC trades against the gas token itself: buys, sells, fees and holder payouts are all plain USDC, with nothing to approve. The ERC-20 at 0x3600…0000 is the same dollars seen from the other side; it can be pasted by address, for a creator who wants the ERC-20 pool from day one.

There is no Stocks tab yet: Arc has no verified tokenised-stock market (the coins named after NVDA or TSLA on Arc are unattributed memes). It appears the day an issuer brings one.

The floor

Before a coin is created, its pair asset's market is measured live, on-chain, and must clear a floor:

floor
an asset on the offered list$10,000 of depth
an asset pasted by address$25,000 of depth

Being listed lowers the floor but never removes it. A listed asset whose market dries up stops qualifying on its own.

How depth is measured

Depth is read on every venue on Arc that holds real liquidity, and only the best single venue counts, never a sum: a trade cannot cross two pools at once.

venuewhat is read
Uniswap v4the pool's liquidity, walked tick by tick like a real swap
Uniswap V3, Aero (Arc), Archerythe pool's price and liquidity history over thirty minutes
Uniswap V2, DYORSwapthe pool's reserves

Everything is measured against four anchors, USDC, WETH, cirBTC and EURC, priced by Chainlink with USDC held at par. Thirty minutes of history cannot be faked without holding the liquidity for thirty minutes, and every reading is capped by the tokens really in the pool, so a tight range cannot inflate it.

Pasting a coin whose market is on Uniswap v4

Every other venue can be looked up: a factory answers for a pair. Uniswap v4 cannot be: a pool there is the hash of its key, verifiable but not enumerable. So a v4 pool has to be registered once, by anyone, for everyone. The wizard does it: paste the address, and if the market is on v4 it finds the pool and offers one "Add pool" button. One transaction, and the coin counts from then on.

A coin whose only market is another launchpad's hooked pool cannot be measured and so cannot be a pair. FAZE and ARGUS also have plain pools, which is why they are offered.

Coins created on Eden

They are v4 coins like any other. Once $25,000 of real depth has built up in one's pool, it can be the pair for a new coin, which is what the Kin clauses are for.
